Musculoskeletal ultrasonography is a fast, cheap and dynamic examination modality. I believe that this fast developing method will be a part of standard examination of the musculoskeletal system in the near future. 

There is a huge gap between latest research and clinical practice. I can see that it is really difficult for a new trainee to orient in the ultrasound shades of gray. That is the reason I created this education platform, which is dedicated mainly for beginners and intermediates. 

In the Basics section, you can find basic information about the probe types, and its movement. In the future I would like to cover knobology, and main tissue description. In the Joints section you can find original colorful scanning protocols, video tutorials with anatomical drawing for better understanding. In the Pathologies section you can find case reports and examples of some pathologies. 

About the founder: Jakub Jačisko MD, PMR (physical medicine and rehabilitation) resident based in Prague, Czech Republic. I was introduced to msk sonography by prof. Graf in Stolzalpe in 2017, during my 4th year in university. In 2018 during my Erasmus in Heidelberg University I visited ultrasound courses organized by student organisation Sono4You. After graduating in 2019 I visited Euromusculus course of musculoskeletal ultrasonography in Lisbon. Currently I organize courses for medical students in Prague and teach at courses for medical doctor. I am in the 3rd year of a PhD program on the topic: Dynamic examination methods in rehabilitation medicine.
